My very first site consisted of about 700 pages. It's been through 3 or 4 design changes.

This was before I ever used CSS.

And it was before I ever knew what a Global Editor was.

So I had to change every single individual page. Took some time. Smiley

Anyway, times are different now - aside from CSS issues, for making sweeping changes, I also ensure that I use a Global Editor.

My current favourite is Dot Edit (.Edit):

It's not perfect - it's been known to stall at certain files or folders - but is otherwise a simple and easy tool.

I've tried a couple of Global Editors and this is definitely my current favourite.

And, nowadays, it's great that I can change hundreds of pages in only a few clicks, rather than weeks. Smiley
