I normally have my colours set at 32 bit. Seems to make sense, especially as it's an option for the larger scren sizes.
 
 Had a bit of a shock earlier, though, when I tested a site for 800x600 compatibility - one of the major background images looked pretty awful. I'd forgotten that at 800x600 resolution, you can only use 16 bit - in Windows 98 at least.
 
 You can bet I'm going to be more careful with my graphics in future...

But does anyone still use 16 bit color?
Im pretty sure they dont you know Smiley

I definitely design with 32 bit color in mind.

I think it's fair to say that with Windows XP with 32 bit as the default setting, I'll be surprised if there are that many people on lower colour resolutions these days. Smiley
