Is OSCommerce insecure?
I was told I would need to add several mods to my installation just to give it a basic level of security.

Can anyone post a simple method of securing an OSCommerce installation?

I don't know if it's generally insecure - I should hope it's nothing more than ensuring it continually patch the software whenever there's an update.

If there are any reports on OSCommerce - patched and up to date - showing consistent security problems, then I'd definitely be interested to see them - as I'm currently about to launch an OSCommerce site with a friend.
