Hi taiarain, I am also in search of most effective marketing strategy ! Cheesy So far for my case, I find that putting my signature link in forum psting is the one that bring me the most traffic to my targetted site.

In the meantime, I also write some articles and get them published all over. This type of strategy could gain me some traffic initially when the articles are still new, and often get posted in "latest" section. However, as time past, it will goes to archive section where it hardly give me any traffic anymore.

Mine started with articles, blogs and now opt in newsletters.
I do plenty of offline marketing as well.

I combine marketing types and don't really track them to closely.

I get about 30% of my traffic from search engines, so SEO is up there.  The rest of my traffic comes from mostly forum signature posts, blog comments, and my own blogs, and some from article links.

I regulary use an online community to advertise my business.

This site allows people to advertise their business or product, recruit new associates, create a profile and meet and chat with thousands of business minded people from around the world and also they now have forums, free classifieds and pixel ads. Thousands of people are visiting this community every day.

Its like ''myspace'' but directmatches is a business space.

Look though the profiles to see the caliber of people they attract.. you'll be amazed!

Moneycash..that’s great...it sure save time looking. The sending resume route just doesn’t work for me. In person networking does though. Thank you for the tip..I will be sure to use it.

By the way, has anyone used paid versus non paid directories to advertise your sites, and if so, what is the difference in response and luck in finding work?
