Hi everyone, I am looking at egold payment option at the moment. Wondering if anyone here has experience in integrating their payment gateway in website? I tried to add it on my site but seems pretty complicated.

Just curious is there any known "potential" issues that I should be aware of?? Anyone?

I haven't tried it, but ran a google search for you.

Here's a wikipedia entry on it:

Well, you are already working with paypal. My suggestion is, don't open too many accounts at once. Wait till you have a stabile income flow. There are not too many egols clients out there. Personally I trust paypal and plant to stick with it.

I also use clickbank for some affiliate programs, but clickbank is far from being as effective as paypal.

Pamil makes a very good point about not oversaturating yourself with too many payment options.

Hi everyone,
Have been tied down with several projects lately. Lack of effective time to visit forum and post more questions to seek help  Shocked. Well, I am back!! Grin

Ok, at the moment I am still sticking to paypal as I find their service is pretty convinience for me. As advised, I didn't open account for other payment mode. More over, I feel save with paypal as the recent StormPay issue really give me a step back from going with more payment processor. I need to be caution.

Good to know. What can you tell us about StormPay? I've never tried it.

Thanks Taia. I guess it's better to stick with my all time favorite, paypal. No problem so far... But I am a rather new member - since January this year, so... I'll see

Once upon a time, I had an egold account.  The problem comes when you want to take money out of it.  I don't know if it's changed, but it is a pain to find a reputable egold money changer to get your money transfered to PayPal or something else.

I guess that is kind of understandable; nobody wants to offer the service to transfer your funds in a competitor's account  Undecided
