Hello everyone,
Well, majority of webmaster has been joining into the gold mining activities via displaying PPC ads on their site, especially the Adsense. However, what if you were running an ecommerce site selling merchandises, would you also be displaying these ads??

Let's see, if a visitor were to click on the ads, you will earn from the click, but your "potential customer" will be drawn away from yor site isn't it?? Isn't that causing your some business lost?? Have anyone been into similiar situation??  Roll Eyes

I sell a service through my site and will not be having any ads on it. Perhaps if I were running a forum, but not on my main site.

Well, this is a tricky business. If the service and information you proviede does not satisfy your visitor, she will leave whether you have Adsense or not. The "back" button works fine, you know?

Personally I have nothing against a decent Adsense on my pages. I welcome competition. Smiley

Hi seniors,
Ok, I read your replies with some thoughts, what if I were to put PPC ads onto my business site and capture those visitors that couldn't find an interesting merchandise and hence about to leave my site. PPC ads could then come into "action" and possibly earned me some little revenue.

But on the other hand, would it sort of "downgrade" my image too?? well, having those "ads" seem to be "un-professional" in someway. Those true corporate sites would not allow such ads to be appeared on their site aren't they??

I'd have to see your site to form an opinion. In my case, it would definitely make me look unprofessional.
