Hi everyone,
I am wondering if you do purchase SSL certificate for your ecommerce site?? It is kind of letting your customers feel safe when they wanted to make purchase on your site.

Or you would just use the general SSL available on your host server?? Or data center??

I usually recommend my clients to purchase a hosting package that offers SSL. It's cheaper than purchasing the certificates after Smiley

But you are 100% right: SSL certificates do convince clients you offer a reliable service. So if you make sales online, you should purchase SSL.

Thanks Pamil for your guide.
Ok, where do we actually purchase the SSL certificate?? Do we get it directly from our host? or data center?? Or even purchasing it from other thrid party?

Are there any requirement or procedure in this??

You could try going straight to VeriSign:

OK, that "link queen" is really interesting. What exactly do you mean?  Smiley

Nothing much. Just that it seemed like I was posting links everywhere I went that day.  Smiley

Well, that's a good thing. It will help you with your search engine rankings.

Oops, not my own links. More linking to other sites to help people who were looking for one thing or another.

If you can generate your own CSR (certificate signing request), SSL can range from $15 - $1,000, depending on the company.
