Hi seniors,
Ok, looking at my sites recently, I am realy feeling down as majority of my previous customers do not came back or seldom come back to make purchases. So how do I actually go about in enticing them to keep coming back and make purchases?

Let them know you update your site on regular basis and eventually give each week a new "free" download. An ebook related to your industry, a software... something they can use.

Make them want to come back.

Don't forget regular opt-in newsletters to alert them to the goodies you're offering.

emm...newsletter! I must admit that I am pretty weak in this particular area. More often than not, I coud not spin off some ideas or topic to share with my members. That's the main reason why I have yet to implement newsletter for my ecommerce site.

Are there some step by step guides for me to start learning of setting up newsleter and running it?? Embarrassed

Newsletters, customer loyalty specials, and thank you notes are all ways of encouraging repeat customers. Be sure to add new things from time to time to keep the store feeling fresh. Sometimes unfortunately customers only purchase one or two things and never return.

Having a newsletter or blog is a good idea, as is announcing sales on your front page or having a monthly contest.  If you want to take on the extra work, a forum can entice people to return to your site often.
