yep, i'd love to!!!  i ddn't know before there is such an event as a banned books week!  i'd love to read some of those banned books...i'm not really for censorship of books nor movies...everyone should be given the right to think for themselves..

Why on earth are some of these challenged?  I assume 'challenged' means that someone attempted to get them banned, although I'm not sure where... in a school?  Everywhere?

Some of these books I read FOR school: The Outsiders, The Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Flowers for Algernon...

Why are people trying to ban these classics???!?!?!?  Makes me mad.

banning books should be frowned upon...all the more if they're classics...let people think for themselves...
