Can anyone give me any great tips on how to get a lot of daily visitors to a blog? 
First of all, here is what I plan to do:

1) Put my blog in many blog directories
2) Ping it using pingomatic every time I post something
3) Post in it every day

I've signed up for Technorati, but I don't quite understand what it does.

I need more help please!

Has anyone had any problems marketing a blog? Also, what blog program do you use and why is it the most effective in your opinion?
