PITCHES! I hate to see "You can do it too. . . make $1000 a week just sitting at home."

I don't like generic sites, and I can not stand sites with poor grammar or structure issues.

Well, speaking stricly from a design standpoint, I dislike:

1) Complete flash designs
2) Patterned background graphic
3) Bad color text on background (yellow on red - that kind of thing)
4) Excessive banner or block ads
5) Fifty webring graphics at the bottom
6) Overly graphic - not enough information!

Well met Melos. I have to agree whole heartedly. Websites that make me feel like I wasted my time even clicking and those who make me have to run a spyware remover also irritate me.

Ahh yes.  Spyware, adware....   pop-ups, pop-unders, pop-ins.  Anything that pops. Cheesy

I also hate those "built for Adsense sites" that have nothing but a bunch of links and no info.

Do you ever feel cheated by those kinds of sites? I get so frustrated by them!

yep, i feel very much cheated of course..darn...it's alright when you're at home, at least you can regulate most of them in your own pc..but i remember my college days when i had to meet deadlines and i sought the help of internet shops near our university only to be bombarded with those pop-ups while working....it really eats away both your time and money...even your concentration!

It’s so true that content is king. If a website just has a bunch of flashy pictures, it’s not enough. The power of the word cannot be denied and it is no surprise that there has been a “renaissance ” of THE WORD like never through the process of blogging.

I do not like a lot of clutter that makes the site take awhile to load. It is better to have a clean site that is simple.

i second that, nangel.  i have encountered one too many sites which take too long to load with all the clutter.  less can be more in web design. Smiley
