Head cheese.  It is scraps of unwanted meat - meaning the parts that are not saleable - in aspic - which is gelatinous ooze.

Blutwurst is bad too.  Congealed blood sausage.

My grandfather was a good German butcher and brought home a lot of weird things.

upon visiting this thread, i remembered a few of those articles i have found online about fetus soup sold in china.  ewww... i would gladly eat cockroaches and rats, but please, no humans.  ulk.

oh, nangel, "pretty bad" is too mild a term.  it's nasty.  i  read from an online article that some chinese people eat it in the belief that it cures diseases such as asthma. ulk.
